Chemical resistance tables

These chemical resistance tables demonstrate the estimated behavior of different elastomers depending on the operating media. They are based on tests and information provided by our suppliers. Because the different application conditions may vary, please only consider this data as a recommendation. The data is non-binding and must be checked on a case-by-case basis. All values were obtained during testing under room temperature conditions.

The specific estimates must be read as follows:

A = 0 – 5% volume swelling, elastomer shows zero to negligible swelling.
B = 5 – 10% volume swelling, elastomer shows negligible to moderate swelling
C = 10 – 20% volume swelling, elastomer shows moderate to strong swelling
D = Not recommended
– = N/A
